Early this morning, Russia's Shahed bombed an apartment in Kyiv. Video footage showed the direct hit on a civilian-occupied apartment, not a military target.
A 60-year-old woman and her 20-year-old son died in the attack. Five cats that lived with them also died. Only one was rescued, but suffered severe burns and lung damage.
The scene where a family, a home, and a world were completely destroyed was filled with soot, heat, and the smell of charcoal left by the fire. It was heartbreaking to see the remains of a home that had been burned down in this place where everything had been reduced to ashes.
The large hole in the roof and debris that Shahed had blown out made one realize the destructive power.
Coincidentally, this place is less than 1km away from the US embassy. While the US president keeps repeating 'peace in name only' like Mickey Mouse's clown show, Russia is committing war crimes.
